Wonder…
How wonderful it is to wonder….
the wonder of everyday
of knowing the wonder of gratitude
of life and breath
of recovery and health
of hope and joy
of tiny insects and grand vistas
of fields of flowers and of the first blossoms of spring
of misty mornings and shining sunsets
of quiet whispers and roars of laughter
of gurgling brooks and ferocious, untamed oceans
and of mighty, mighty rivers
of majestic horses and tiny bees
of new life and seasons
of pondering how to capture the essence
of all that is wonderful
and wondering about how amazing it is
to see and savour the extraordinary in the ordinary
of the wonders of every moment
and to know it is a gift to be here
and now
and to be constantly reminded
how wonderful it is to be in
the Rest of my life
my cup forever brims with blessing.
that is a wonder indeed.

thanks Fergiemoto. the short reply is – thank you!
the longer reply is that the poem almost wrote itself as i reflected on the last couple of weeks….
and for the full answer, that would almost require another post, so i’ll leave well enough alone 🙂
thanks again for visiting and leaving such kind words behind!

Every bit of this poem celebrates life in the most grateful and beautiful way. A lot of times , it takes a significant ailment may be it be us or those we care about for us to realize how important it is to trully live our life, finding it’s meaning, living it to the fullest. For the past two years, my mom had been sick on and off. Being away from my parents, it scares me that something might happen to them and I’m not there. So far , my prayers has been heard and both my parents are currently healthy. Events like this made me appreciate the value of life and people. I hope everything is well with you and your family. God bless you always.
