These wild and wonderful hand-knit cotton socks are proudly made, so the label says, in Washington. They look slightly mismatched, but that is the fun of them. And beyond their looks, they are soft, and the right amount of snug without being excessively tight. Ahhh, now that is sheer comfort for weary soles.

For more comfort, make yourself cozy over here.

These socks were discovered

  14. I love these! They are adorable. As boaters, we often deal with being wet and or cold and the first thing we do is get our feet dry and into a great pair of socks. These would fit the bill. Great interpretation. : )

  15. Your picture reminded me that winters are coming in a short-while, and I’m going to need woolen socks too. My mom has knitted a pair for me. Wow, it’s going to be all cozy and warm, hopefully.

Thanks Chris. Have a good time ahead. πŸ™‚

    • yes, warm socks when it’s cold are a wonderful thing, Nandini.
how cold do your winters get? we only rarely have long, cold winters, although sometimes it does happen. three years ago we had snow from mid-December to mid-March. very unusual. most winters, if we get snow, it usually just lasts a week at most. but snow or not, yay for warm socks in the winter!

      • Here, the winters start in November and end by February. It snows only at higher parts of the mountains, so where I live these days, no snow at all. But if i travel 35 km up in December end or January, I will find lots of snow. But anyhow, we need warm socks too. πŸ™‚

  19. I had fun with this, PK! I wear socks during the cold month of December only here in the Philippines. Every time I come home for the Holiday Season, I still do wear socks. And yeah, it’s comforting to have those socks as they really make soles of our feet warm … and so COMFORTED.
